At Park Square rotary, follow East Street for 3.25 miles(East St. becomes Merrill Road after 1.5 miles) to inintersection of MA Rt. 9 and MA Rt. 8. There is parking at both ends of the trail, and on Route 9 in Hadley behind the Bread and Circus Market. Limited parking that provides wheelchair access at the junction of Mill Lanr and Southeast Street in Amherst. From the North: Rt. 91 South to exit 20. At the bottom of the ramp- merge with traffic and enter left lane. Turn left at light onto Damon Road. Proceed 1/2 mile. Parking is on the left at the Ellwell Recreation Area. From the South: Route 91 North to Exit 19. at the end of the ramp go straight through light. Parking area is on the right.

Directions: From Rt.128: Take exit 31B. Follow MA Route 225 West for 8 miles to the Carlisle center rotary, then turn right on Lowell St. (following the sign to Chelmsford). The Park entrance is 2 miles ahead on the right. Park office is just beyond the entrance on the right. From the North: Take 495 South to exit 34. Follow Rt. 110 West for .6 miles to Chelmsford Center, continue through light onto Rt. 4 South for 1 miles, then take right fork on to Concord Road towards Carlisle. The office is 2 miles ahead on the left go left on to North Rd. and parking lot is 1/2 mile down on the left From the West: Take Route 2 to 495 North. Then use above directions for the North. From the South: Take 495 North to exit 32(Westford and Route 225). Go right at the bottom of the ramp. At set of lights go straight through. Follow until T intersection and take a left on to Rt. 225. Follow Rt. 225 until you reach the center of Carlisle Rotarty. Go /34 of the way around the rotary on to Lowell Street towards Chelmsford. The entrance to the park will be 2 miles down the road on the right.

Directions: From Points North and South: Take interstate 91. Take exit 27 onto Route 2 east. From points West: Take Route 2 east past Route 91 to the traffic lights in Gill. From points East: Take Route 2 West to Gill. At the Route 2 lights in Gill, go South towards Turner's Falls and Deerfield over the river on Avenue. Parking: Accessible parking is immediately after the bridge on the right. The main parking lot is around the corner, take the next right to enter the lot.

The Visitors Center will be on the right. A small parking lot is located in back of the Jackson Street Visitors Center on Mill Street. In addition there is a private parking garage on Appleton Street (one block west of the Visitors Center). The park is also accessible by bus and train from Boston. Call the park for train schedule.
